About You
We are looking for a proactive and well-connected freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across our Singapore and Malaysia offices.
You are passionate about identifying exceptional talent and building relationships long before hiring needs arise. You enjoy developing talent communities, growing freelancer networks and creating high-quality pipelines across creative, communications, digital and integrated marketing disciplines.
You are organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple hiring priorities simultaneously. You build trusted relationships with hiring managers, understand the talent market and proactively identify candidates who strengthen both immediate hiring needs and future workforce planning.
You thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, are naturally curious about people and enjoy finding smarter ways to attract, engage and nurture high-quality talent.
What You Do
As a freelance Talent Acquisition Specialist, you strengthen Archetype's talent pipeline by building freelancer communities and supporting hiring across Singapore and Malaysia.
You proactively build and maintain a strong network of freelance talent across creative, PR, communications, digital, content and integrated marketing disciplines.
You develop and manage talent pipelines for future hiring needs, ensuring high-quality candidates are readily available for permanent, contract and freelance opportunities.
You lead recruitment for internship programmes across Singapore and Malaysia, partnering with universities, screening candidates and coordinating the end-to-end hiring process.
You support recruitment for professional and senior-level roles, particularly across the Singapore office, from sourcing and screening through to interview coordination and offer support.
You partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring priorities, provide market insights and recommend effective sourcing strategies.
You identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, industry networks and direct sourcing.
You conduct market mapping, competitor research and talent benchmarking to strengthen workforce planning and hiring decisions.
You maintain accurate recruitment records, talent databases and freelancer communities, ensuring pipelines remain active, organised and up to date.
You identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and employer brand visibility.
What You Offer
Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or executive search, ideally within an agency, professional services or fast-paced commercial environment.
Demonstrated experience sourcing creative, communications, digital, marketing or corporate talent.
Strong direct sourcing capability using LinkedIn, job boards and professional networks.
Experience building and maintaining talent pipelines and freelancer communities.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously.
Commercial awareness and confidence interpreting talent availability, market trends and hiring challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms and AI tools to improve sourcing and recruitment efficiency.
